The Kronborg Bench
2026, Winner of Danmarks Næste Klassiker
A bench for two people, created specifically for Kronborg Castle. The design draws directly from the castle’s architectural motifs and rich history.
The waves of the Øresund strait and the castle's many vaults are transformed into the curved seats of the bench. The copper roofs of the stair towers find new life as the bench's adjustable feet in raw copper, while the pillars from Eric of Pomerania’s chamber reappear as refined details on the legs.
