A Fantasy Creature—and a den. for Aarhus Universitets Hospital
A space where children can rehearse for the challenging situations awaiting them in the hospital. They can practice taking blood samples from their stuffed animals or scanning them. The tools for these games are stored in the red cabinets. Children can simulate entering a CT scanner or simply sit and cuddle with their parents.
And when it’s time for the consultation, the child might pat the creature behind the ear and wave goodbye together with their parents and the clinician.
